I currently work from Wayfarers Trading Co in Avalon Beach, on Sydney’s North Shore.
Getting there. You can travel by car and there is generally free on-street parking nearby. There’s a ferry that goes from circular quay to Manly and then from manly there is a bus which takes you straight to Avalon.
The vibe. Wayfarers is a cosy and family-friendly studio.
My travel. I also travel, doing guest spots across Australia, Europe and further afield.

Yes, as long as you have written approval from your legal guardian. This is the NSW law and there are no exceptions.
First I’ll check what you’d like to get tattooed and whether we’re comfortable doing it for you, we can’t make promises.
We’d love for you to bring your guardian comes to your appointment so we can double check with them if everything is all right.
-
A few days before your appointment I’ll will send your design. You can let me know if there are any adjustments you want to make.
On the day
Once you arrive, we’ll say hi and generally:
Look at a few different sizes and placements, to ensure the best fit (this can take some time)
We may need to shave the area before we start (not as creepy as it sounds!)
Then, we’ll put on the stencil to find the best placement. We may need to do that a few times to get it right.
Then, I’ll get set-up and ensure you’re comfortable and in the right position. The position varies.
Finally, we’ll ask if you’re ready to begin. Tattoo time !
Depending on how big your tattoo is, we’ll likely take a few breaks - you can ask for more breaks.
As with many tattoo shops, our shop can be noisy and bright. So, if you have sensory sensitivities you might like to bring sensory aids such as dark glasses, noise cancelling headphones and sensory/fidget toys.
-
Sure you can, but our tattooing area isn’t big so they may not be able to sit right near you. They might like to visit the beach or local shops while you get tattooed.
-
Touch-ups are included in your tattoo up to 6 months after.
Let me know if there are any issues as soon as possible so we can fix them for you.
Depending on your skin tone and texture some colours are more stubborn and tricky to stay in the skin, so it’s not unusual to have some small touch-ups to do.

Some scars are coverable some are not.
Here are some considerations before tattooing a scar:
Your scar needs to be fully healed which means the colour should be white or silver, not still pink or red.
Tattoos over scars also heal differently as the skin is different to other skin. So, the part of the tattoo over the scar may look different.
We know scars can hold trauma, so we don’t ask how you got them.

Chill ! I’m here to create a comfortable environment for you to get tattooed.
I love a chat but can also have quiet times if you need to zone out.
Everyone in our shop is friendly.

I’m usually trying to tattoo something that’s fun for both of us.
My style is usually a lot of florals, animals or something mystical or fantasy related.
I’m confident we can almost always find a common ground with some give and take.
-
Yes. I’ll usually send a design before our appointment for your approval. Im happy to do adjustments if there is something what you want to change.
Big changes? I’ll usually rebook you. If the second design isn’t your vibe then I might suggest finding someone else for your tattoo simply because we might not be a good match!

We’ll give you detailed instructions after your tattoo.
If there’s anything you feel unsure about, please message me after your tattoo.
Generally for best healing you will:
Avoid swimming, baths and long showers in the first two weeks
Avoid direct sunlight on your tattoo for at least two weeks
Avoid touching your healing tattoo
Don’t pick or scratch your tattoo
Avoid vigorous exercise as the sweat can damage your tattoo
